Uwe Rascher

Uwe Rascher is leading the Shoot Dynamics working group at the Institute for Bio- and Geosciences at Forschungszentrum Jülich and is a professor for quantitative plant physiology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. The working group investigates spatiotemporal dynamics and pattern formation processes of photosynthesis with a focus on sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF). Uwe is a member of the Mission Advisory Group (MAG) for FLEX.

Juliane Bendig

Juliane Bendig is PostDoc in the Shoot Dynamics group. Since finishing her PhD at the University of Cologne in 2015, she has been working on SIF, first at the University of Tasmania, Australia, the Center d'Etudes Spatiales de la Biosphère, France and since 2020 at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Ireneusz Kleppert

Ireneusz Pawel Kleppert is a research associate at Forschungszentrum Jülich. During his master's degree in physical geography at the University of Cologne, he specialized in remote sensing and geoinformatics. During this time he worked in the geographic information systems & remote sensing working group and gained experience in the application of remote sensing systems in the agricultural sector.
